Hello! I am David Hale—a product engineer, music lover, and lifelong learner based in Detroit. I currently lead cross-functional R&D at Lear Corporation, collaborating with OEMs, material suppliers, and internal manufacturing teams to develop cutting-edge seating technologies. In this role, I have filed 45 global patents, and introduced circular material solutions that deliver real-world impact.

In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with code, learning new skills, and making music with my brothers. This site is my digital garage: a place for sharing data-driven insights, experiments, music, and anything else I think is worthwhile.
